Agnieszka Kubicka-Dzieduszycka (WRO)

Agnieszka Kubicka-Dzieduszycka is a member of the program team of the WRO Art Center. She graduated from German Philology at the Wrocław University, and works as a curator and coordinator of artistic events in the field of media art and cultural projects. Since 2011 she has been a lecturer in the Department of Art Mediation at the E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
 She has been cooperating with the WRO Foundation since 1995 and actively participates in the majority of artistic and educational events organized within the framework of this institution, including several successive editions of the WRO Media Art Biennale. 
She is the co-creator of the art mediation program at the WRO Art Center, and her practice in this field is also the point of reference for her classes on Art Mediation at the Academy of Art in Wrocław. She is mainly involved in international cooperation, including coordination of EU-funded projects, she carries out activities with artists from, among other, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Ukraine. Since 2011 she has been dealing with media art from Japan presenting it in such exhibitions as Japanese Perspective Now!, Reverisble//Irreversible//Presence, or the Japanese path within the WRO 2019 Biennale HUMAN ASPECT. As curatorial director of media she worked with Sapporo International Art Festival SIAF (2018-2020). She served as the member of the Artistic Council of the Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts (2010-2015).
