Krzysztof Dobrowolski (WRO)
Krzysztof Dobrowolski – member of the WRO Art Center program team. A graduate of Polish Philology at the University of Wrocław and doctoral studies in the field of Culture Sciences at the University of Wrocław, during his studies a laureate of a scholarship from the President of Wrocław. Since 2007, he has been constantly associated with the WRO Foundation. Previously he worked on such projects as the first editions of the Brave Festival or the Prix Visionica Festival For Creative Television. Involved, in various roles, in the implementation of most of the Foundation’s projects – exhibitions, publications, research, including subsequent editions of the WRO Biennale. He published in art and theater magazines. Author of essays published in the WIDOK. WRO Media Art Reader series and catalogue essays about artists and works from the collection of the Zachęta Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He taught the subjects of Media Art and Audiovisual Culture at Wrocław’s Cultural Studies, and currently lectures at the University of Lower Silesia.
Member of the Competition Committees in the Best Media Arts Graduation Projects Competition (2016-2018), Competition coordinator in 2019 and 2020, coordinator and curator of the current edition.
